The two-hour pottery taster workshop is designed for people who have never used a pottery wheel before. It is an introduction into the world of pottery to see if this is something you would like to pursue in the future. The workshop is designed to be informal and a fun experience. Gift vouchers are available to purchase for any special event such as Christmas, birthdays or even as a Valentines gift.

I will take you through the processes required to enable you to create a few cylindrical pots, so be prepared to get messy. Please remember to attend with short, trimmed fingernails as this will make handling the clay a lot easier for you!

We will of course have time for a cuppa and cake within the 2 hours.

All materials including clay and glaze will be included with no hidden costs. The pots once dried, will be fired by myself, and a glaze of your choice will be applied and fired once again for the final finish.

The drying and firing process will take a while therefore your pots should be ready for collection or delivery around 2-3 weeks.

The cost for the two-hour beginner’s workshop is £65 per person.

I can accommodate two people at each session at my home studio in Grittleton.
